At first, they'll appear to be nice, they'll help humanity, get close to humans so as to understand their mindsets (or if they're like way way more advanced, they could use some subjects to understand the neural patterns through their technology).Now, if they be nice (and less advance than us), they couldn't do more but to just safeguard themselves. Aliens could be anything, from a single celled organism whose metabolism doesn't work our way. If they be any inferior to us, we won't be in any trouble, not specifically of any invasion. But, if they are more advanced, or like more vanquishing, our race, we earthlings, will have to endure they torments, if not directly, then through some sort of Trojan Strategy ! They might seem to be very amicable, and helpful at first, just like what is believed by many conspiracy theorist, of the ancient Egyptians drawing their powers from them, they'd create hybrids, dilute our race, and finally take over the earth ! There are many possibilities to what might happen, just like there are for what type of aliens we might come across !
