What happens if xylem is not present in a plant

water conduction will stop and transpiration and guttation will stop...... Death of the plant !

Xylem => The Xylem is one of the two types of transport tissue in vascular plants, phloem being the other.

The main function of xylem - to transport water from roots to shoots and leaves.

And if there will be no xylem then the plant will dry up.
