what happens if you take dried seeds instead of germinating seeds in the experiment

you can germinate a plant with a dried seed too...
the reason is that, when the seeds are dried they are said to be dormant but when when given proper condition such as water , air, moisture , nutrients etc then the breaking of dormancy occurs and the dried seed gets refreshed and start germinating.....
