In this double replacement reaction the anions and cations of two compounds switch places and from two entirely different compound .This reaction are the General form:
AB+CD=AD + CB
For example when barium chloride (bacl) and magnesium sulfate(MgSo).
anion switches places with the SO react,the anion, giving the compounds 2CL4,BaSo4
and mgcl2
