If the cell is kept in the solution where the concentration of environment surrounding the cell will be high , then it means that cell will lose water.
As we know that movements of particles is only done from higher concentration to lower concentration.
This type of solution is hypertonic solution. Amount of water entering the cell will be lesser than the the amount of particles that leave from the cell.
