What happens to a metal ball when it is heated? What does this show?

when metal ball is heated ,it expands .

the hot ball is able to pass through the ring...

Answer:

When we heat any metal the particles having more space between the molecules decreases the intermolecular forces between us.

By an experiment when we heat a metal ball its size is expanded because of heating.

Befire heating when we pass the ball from the ring out but when we heat the ball upto 4 or 5 minutes metal ball expands its suze and does not able to pass through through the ring.

This experiment shows that when we heat the metal or a ball it expands its size than the colling temperature.
