The uterus became developed to get the fertilised egg. If fertilization doesnot occur then the egg along with the uterus linings is removed out from the body through vagina.This process is known as menstrual cycle....

After ovulation , the egg enters in the oviduct .

The uterus prepares itself to recieve the fertilized egg , if the fertilization does not take place , the uterus lining breaks down in the form of blood and discharges out of the body .

This is known as Menstruation.
