Answer: the flow of the blood stops and the solid particles of blood settles down on the part which is closest to surface and above it a light colored fluid will be there

When we die we don't respirate ( obviously ) so our haemoglobin does not gets oxygen so the colour of our blood does not remain red and it turns damp blue ( deoxygenated blood is not of colour).
