Answer:

Extra glucose in the body is converted into glycogen(a complex carbohydrate like starch)and stored in the liver(a small amount is stored in the muscles as well).

This glycogen is converted to glucose when blood glucose level falls. This process helps us to maintain blood sugar levels in between meals.

Sorry but i don't know about carbohydrates.

Answer:

Ans...when the excess of glucose is synthesized by chloroplast in plants.it is converted into a polymeric form called as starch...it can be broken down during the process of respiration and releasing energy stored in the glucose molecules.

when the excess of carbohydrates in plants then carbohydrates burned during body process to produce energy, giving out carbondioxide and water. starches are found mainly in grain , legumes and tubers and sugar are found in plants and fruits. Sugar are the smallest unit of carbohydrates and when they join together they formed starch.
