Nephron is the smallest and functional unit of kidney which is composed of renal corpuscle and renal tubule. It is the unit which work towards removing wastes from blood by producing urine.
When glucose enters nephron along with filtrate, it goes down the renal tubule by the action of cilia.
The tubular cells absorb glucose, amino acids, salts, etc. These are then passed into the capillary blood cells using the process of diffusion.
