WE HAVE TO DO POTY.

muthusanthosh14: No.... I mean, in chapter 6 (biology) of class 10 science book, I had learnt that our stomach's protective layer, mucus, does its job from the action of acids, but in chapter 2 (chemistry), the text says that the stomach is subject to acidity during indigestion. What happens to the mucus then?
Anshuman1111111111: MELTS
muthusanthosh14: Thanks

our stomach walls have gastric glands that secrete muscus and HCL, muscus protests walls from HCL , muscular walls of stomach undergo periodic contraction to mix the food thoroughly.

muthusanthosh14: ok, then what about indigestion? what happens to the mucus hen?
