Respiration is a catabolic pathway the glucose breaks down into carbon dioxide and water by using oxygen to release energy when the rate of respiration is more than the rate of photosynthesis the bio molecules present in the plants breakdown to compensate the reduced rate of photosynthesis

Answer:

If the rate of respiration is higher than the rate of photosynthesis then the plant will be starving more because the higher rate of respiration leads to more consumption of the oxygen
