Solids cannot be compressed. For Some solids we can press them like sponge, rubber band etc. but they come back to their original shape if we press them.

Answer: When solid materials are pressed, they undergo physical change. No new substance is formed but, it changes its form, texture size or shape… The oil or juice that is being extracted is a chemical change, thus oil and juice is another substance which has a new chemical composition.
