HERE IS YOUR ANSWER....
Leyden jar is usually used to store electric charge after some rubbed object is charged. When air comes in contact with the jar, it gets charge and loose all its moisture for which it comes out of it and again when it comes in contact with outside air it gain the charge to mix with them and it mix with them.
