what happens to the ammeter reading If two resistors of same value are connected in series in the circuit ?

When resistors are connected in series
then total resistance will increase which means current in the circuit will decrease..

So ammeter reading will decrease.

Current has inversely relationship with resistance. Resistances are connected in series, then the value of resistance increases which decreases the value of current, that's why the reading of ammeter also decreases.
