Explanation:the exhaled air is composed majorly of CO2 . CO2 when passed through lime water turns it milky due to formation of a PPT Called calcium carbonate (CaCO3)

Reaction :- Ca(OH)2+CO2--->CaCO3+H2

However, when CO2 is passed for longer duration, the milkiness disappears
