What happens to the area of a rectangle when (a) it's length and breadth doubled(b) it's length is doubled and breadth

Answer:

Area of rectangle = l × b

= lb

When the area is doubled = 2(lb)

2(lb) = doubled length and breadth .

Therefore, If the length and breadth are doubled then the area is automatically get doubled.
