THE AREA OF A TRIANGLE WHEN THE BASE OF THE TRIANGLE IS DOUBLED AND THE HEIGHT IS HALVED REMAINS THE SAME AS WHEN THE BASE AND THE HEIGHT OF THE TRIANGLE REMAINS THE SAME.

THIS IS BECAUSE THE FORMULA OF AREA OF A TRIANGLE IS

 \frac{1}{2} \times base \times hight

THEREFORE THEREFORE WHEN THE BASE IS DOUBLED AND THE HEIGHT IS HALVED THE 2 IN THE DENOMINATOR OF THE HEIGHT AND 2 AS THE COEFFICIENT OF THIS CANCELS OUT.

HOPE IT HELPS
