what happens to the cells of our body as we grow?

Once we are grown up, many cells mature and become specialised for their particular job in the body and they don't reproduce so often. But some cells, such as skin cells or blood cells are constantly dividing. When cells become damaged in any way or die, the body produces new cells to replace them.
