Let circles radii be 'r'

if radius is tripled then r will be equal to 3r

◆Circumference of a circle is given by 2πr

so it will be : 2π3r => 6πr

Area of a circle is given by : πr^2

So it will become : π(3r)^2 => π(9r^2) => 9πr^2

Hope it helps!

The Circumference is 2πr. When the radius is tripled, it becomes 3x, to the circumference will be 2π(3x) = 6πx. So the circumference will also be tripled.
