what happens to the direction and speed of the wave when it gets reflected

scady3501: can anyone answer pls
ritishsingh37happia: its direction is confined to the same straight line in the oposite directon and makes an angle with the normal such that angle of incidence=angle of replection.there is no change in the speed of the wave.thank you.it was fun....

when a light wave is reflected, direction may alter based on angle of incidence. But speed never changes in reflection. There is a chance for speed change in refraction.

simply direction of wave depends on angle of incidence and speed does not change
