WHAT HAPPENS TO THE GRAVITATIONAL FIELD OF A STAR WHEN IT PASSES THROUGH A BLACK HOLE??

the escape velocity of earth is equal to 11 km/s. Anything that wants to escape earth's gravitational pull must go at least 11 km/s, no matter what the thing is  a rocket ship or a baseball. The escape velocity of an object depends on how compact it is; that is, the ratio of its mass to radius. A black hole is an object so compact that, within a certain distance of it, even the speed of light is not fast enough to escape.

it's field means gravitational wave of star
first what is gravitational wave. Think of space as one of those “flat escalators” to move more quickly around airports, but somehow made of elastic rubber. The belt moves at a rate which we will call the speed of light. And think that the belt is moving from the black hole to its surrounding. Well, the black hole is pulling the belt towards it, and because it’s elastic, it stretches it.

Part of the gravitational field or gravitational wave will be lost forever inside the black hole. The part of the wavefront  that is far enough away from the black hole will continue moving past it, as its direction will be bent slightly towards the black hole. so it will behave like a gravitational lens, and refocus the nearest part of the wave so that it starts to converge again.
