What happens to the image distance in the eye when we increase the distance if an object from the eye.

As we move the object far away from the eye The image in the eye too gets smaller. as in our eye we have a convex lens.

For a non-defective eye, the image distance will remain the same that is on the screen called retina. It is the accomodation of the eye lens that makes it possible.
