What happens to the magnitude of magnetic field around a straight conductor carrying
current if


(i)magnitude of current passing through the conductor is increased.
(ii) distance from the conductor increases.​

  • (i) When magnitude of current passing the conductor is increased . the Magnetic field also increases.Because Magnetic field and current are proportional to each other .

  • (ii) When distances from the conductor increases that is magnetic field lines are sparsed. the Magnetic field decreases since distance increases the line of force is also stretched
