when passengers are Taking a sharp turn , it can be said that the bus is moving in a part of a circle , which is going to be very small , now the outward or centrifugal force experienced by passenger is mv²/R as R is small the force on them increases and they move outward
Another explanation can be that initially they we're moving forward , when the bus took the turn due to inertia of motion they kept going forward and not in the direction of turn , but the bus turned hence it would appear as if they were being applied a force outside the bus
This is but a vague answer

Answer:
When a bus takes a sharp turn, the person travelling in the bus tends to be thrown outwards towards the window. This is due to inertia of direction of the passenger.
