The vascular bundles of the plants are the phloem and xylem which are two of the most important parts of the plants.

The phloem helps in the transportation of nutrients to all parts of the plants which is produced during the process of photosynthesis while xylem helps in the transportation of water from the roots to the leaves of the plants.

If they are destroyed there will be no transportation of nutrients and water , thereby killing the tree.
