what happens to the pressure acting on a body if area becomes 4 times

NobitaNobi6: pressure is inversely proportional to area.
NobitaNobi6: that is If pressure is increased, then area decreases.
NobitaNobi6: so if area brcomes 4 times then pressure is reduced by four times.
Manisahoo: yes u r right
NobitaNobi6: well, i would ask - Wasn't my answer easy to comprehend?
NobitaNobi6: yo
Manisahoo: yess

Thank you for asking this question.  A really easy but an interesting question to ask.
So the formula for calculating pressure is equal to force over area so if the pressure was 10 and the area was 1 so now as area is multiplied by 4 the pressure must be divided by 4 which means the final pressure becomes 2.5 pascals. I hope this answer can help you in some manner.
