What happens to the resistance of the hair dryer when it runs for a long time, if Vani’s hair dryer has a resistance of 50 Ω when it is first turned on.
(Hint : As the temperature increases the resistance of the metallic conductor increases.)

The hair dryer is made of a metallic element. When it runs for a long time, the fuse of the hair dryer gets affected and as temperature increases the resistance of the metallic conductor also increases.


The fuse installed in the hair dryer cuts out the flow of the current in this extreme situation.
