what happens to the smell of perfume or air freshener after some time of spraying it? where why does it go away?

It doesn't goes away but it is a sensation of follows which make us feel like the smell has gone away .....

it can't go away as it is spread by a perfume and the molecules in a perfume are very very loosely packed so it is only the sensation of a nose ....
