what happens to the speed of sound , when it goes from solid to gaseous state?

when it goes from a solid to a gaseous substance it goes into a vacuum and it hertz increases and as we can hear the sound like much more than what was is in the first

Sound waves are longitudinal waves.
So, when they enter gaseous medium from solid medium the speed of light decreases.
 
This because the reason that is gases has humidity and humidity slows the speed of sound.
