What happens to the speed of sound when the temperature changes? Explain and Answer​

Air molecules have more energy at higher temperatures , which means they vibrate faster . This allows the sound waves to also travel faster because of they are propelled by collisions between the molecules.

When the temperature changes like

Increase of temperature the sound speed decrease because the particles distance increases! as sound travel faster solid due to the distance of particle in solid is very close

Example :the gas get expand on increasing temperature so the particles in gas also expand

That's why the sound speed is decrease on increasing temperature

And sound speed increases on Decreases temperature
