If the levels of carbon-dioxide is low the average temperature of the earth will decrease from +15.5℃ to -18 as carbon-dioxide traps the heat radiated back to the space.Hence,the level of carbon-dioxide should be maintained.It should not be in excess as in excess the temperature of earth will be more hence we should never pollute the environment.
