What happens to the temperature off water when few drops of concentareted sulphuric acid is added?

Sulphuric acid ( H2SO4 ) reacts very vigorously with water in a highly exothermic reaction. If we come to the temperature, we can notice that the test tube containing the solution, starts to become heat as we pour the acid into the water.

( Note: We must never pour water into a larger volume of acid because it may slash out everywhere and cause burns if we are near by )

As we know, Sulphuric acid reacts readily with water relesing a big amount of heat which can be very dangerous also. So if we add sulphuric acid to the water then the exothermic reaction takes place releasing heat in the test tube
