Explanation:

When the resistors are added in Series the voltage decrease because the current is same so to manage the relation V=iR voltage decreases. When we connect resistance in parallel the voltage remains constant as the current is not constant in parallel combination so voltage become constant.

  • In houses parallel combination is used in wiring so that every appliances use same voltage and draw required current.
