Whenever an energy transfer occurs some energy is always wasted. Where does this energy go to? It spreads out and is lost in surroundings.
It is very hard to reuse.
This is why we should be mindful not to waste energy needlessely.

Energy can not be created, nor destroyed, so this means that energy never disappears.
For example, the heat and light energy produced by a light bulb are too spread to be reused.
