The water level remains the same when the ice cube melts. A floating object displaces an amount of water equal to its own weight. Since water expands when it freezes, one ounce of frozen water has a larger volume than one ounce of liquid water

Answer:

when the ice melts it increases the water level as the sea level is defined so when the ice melts it come in form of water which gets mixed with the sea water which will increase the level of sea. It is mainly seen in regions or rivers in south or north pole or Antarctic ocean
