What happens to the wavelength of light after refraction

Hi!☺
Wavelength is directly proportional to speed of light. If the ray of light passes from a denser medium to a rarer medium the speed of light increases and so the wavelength also tends to increase. While when a ray of light passes from a rarer to a denser medium the speed of light decreases and thus wavelength also decreases.
Hope helps!❤

here is your answer
What happens to the wavelength of light after refraction?
- Refraction is the circuitous of light it also happens with sound, water and other waves as it passes from one transparent matter into another. This circuitous by refraction makes it probable for us to have lenses, magnifying glasses, prisms and rainbows. Even our eyes depend upon this bending of light. Without refraction, we wouldn’t be able to focus light onto our retina.
