when light falls on the chlorophyll it starts leaving electrons . these electrons pass from various compound to form ATP(adenosin tri phosphate) from ADP(adenosin di phosphate) this is also called light reaction.
light reaction happens in the stroma of the chloroplast. then happens the dark reaction in which it combines with carbondioxide and water to form glucose ,oxygen and water.
