After losing their jobs they had to wander around in search of work and livelihood to make a living

Many went abroad to work and sone of them starved .

Many weavers became agriculture labours. Some migrated to city in search of work. Yet others went to the work in plantation of Africa and South America. Some found work in the new cotton mills that was established in Bombay, Ahmedabad, Sholapur, Nagpur and Kanpur.
