What happens to your laws of reflection of sound if pipe through which sound is heard is lifted vertically through a small distance

No sound will be heard,
The incident ray,the normal and the reflected ray lie in the same plane
When we lift the pipe, the reflected ray travels in the same plane but cannot travel through the pipe as it has been lifted
