well after u have got e (if e=0 elastic collision if not then inelastic)

then use the following formulae to calculate each object's final velocity

v1=[m1u1+m2u2-m2e(u1-u2)]÷(m1+m2)

v2=[m1u1+m2u2-m1e(u2-u1)]÷(m1+m2)

by using this u can get velocities with direction.
