when bicarbonate is heated it releases hydrogen , oxygen and carbon . as hydrogen and oxygen mixes it forms water vapor and since carbon and oxygen also mixes it forms carbon dioxide.

When we heat a bicarbonate, it decomposes to water vapour, carbon dioxide gas and a carbonate.
For example, when sodium bicarbonate is heated,

2NaHCO3 -------> Na2CO3 + CO2 + H2O
