What happens when a burning matchstick is brouth near the mouth of the test tube in which a metal reacted with sulphuric acid ??????

when any more reactive metal than hydrogen, is reacted with acid ( here sulfuric acid) hydrogen gas is produce and to test this gas we can bring a burning matchstick near the produced gas and we will observe that a pop sound is produced.
