When a current carrying conductor is placed inside a magnetic field , it experiences a force.
The direction of motion of the conductor is shown by Fleming's Left Hand rule .
According to this rule , we have to stretch the fore finger , middle finger and thumb of the left hand , such that they are mutually perpendicular to each other such that , the middle finger shows the direction of current, the fore finger shows the direction of the magnetic field and the thumb finger will show the direction of motion of the conductor.
