What happens when a magnet is placed near tvs or computers for a long time?

nothing happens to such devices.

Whenever we place magnet near the computers they get attracted to the magnets which are in computers in the speaker's due to which the projection device get damage and does not give clear image ,therefore we should not place magnets near computers for a longer time.
