What happens when a parallel beam of light falls on a curved reflecting surface?

If the curved reflecting surface is cocave then it will diverge parallel rays coming from infinity and they appear to meet at focus whereas if curved reflecting surface is convex it will converge the parallel rays at a point focus where the rays will actually meet
