If a person cannot accommodate his focal length more than 2.4cm ,then he is said to be suffering from myopia that is near sightedness. He cannot see objects beyond farpoint.
Maximum focal length of a normal human being is said to be 2.5cm.
for people suffering from myopia ,the maximum focal length is less than 2.5 cm.In such cases the rays coming from distant objects, after refraction through the eye lens ,forms an image before the retina.
