What happens when a piece of zinc metal is added to CuSO4 (Copper Sulphate Solution). ​

  • zinc displaces copper from copper sulphate and forms zinc sulphate solution.
  • therefore the colour changes from blue to colourless .
  • Zn + CuSO4 -> Cu + ZnSO4
