(a) When RCBs are kept in salt solution (hypotonic solution),as the water in the solution is more than inside the cell, the water outside the cell rushes inside and the cell swells up. This is due to osmosis.

(b) When Rheo leaves are boiled in water , then the plasma membrane and the cell wall of the cell are destroyed. Due to this ,there is no net movement of particles when sugar solution is put up on it.

(c)if there was no golgi apparatus , then the cell will not be able to:-

1) Store , Modify and Package substances inside the cell.

2) Transport materials synthesised by the ER to different regions in and out of the cell.

3)sythsise complex sugars from simple sugars

4) synthesise lysosomes which are very important for the cell.

(d) If the plasma membrane ruptures , then the cell will not be able to:-

1) protect the inner components of the cell.

2) control the entry and exit of the certain substances in and out of the cells.

3) engulf its food from the surrounding medium and this process is known as endocytosis.
