The kinetic energy of particles increases when a saturated solution is heated and the spaces between them increase. In this space created, more solute can be added and it is called a super saturated solution.

A saturated solution is that solution in which the maximum amount of solute has been dissolved at a particular temperature.
And in case the solution has less than the maximum amount that can we dissolve the solution is called an unsaturated solution.
